Experience
SEPT 2020 – PRESENT
Project Manager, Account Manager & Development Team Leader, This is Fever
This is Fever are a B2B, full-service digital agency, specialising in bespoke website creation & graphic design. We serve a wide range of clients, from SMEs to multi-national corporations.
We pride ourselves on creating the best performing websites possible from a techincal perspective, achieving close to perfect scores on pagespeed testers. We design beautiful, functional websites, putting the user experience and journey at the heart.
We have also built our own bespoke online events platform, which is white-labeled to our clients. We assist in the execution of these events, from our studio in Colchester.
My role here is multi-faceted! As project manager, I actively manage all projects from scoping to execution. As account manager, I look after a range of clients, from SMEs, to a division of a multi-national corporation with 15k+ employees. I also lead the development team as line manager.
AUG 2014 – OCT 2020
Self Employed, The Digital Moose
This started off as a ‘side hustle’ to bring me more income alongside my events work. Eventually, up until my employment with Fever, this became my main source of income.
Mainly designing and creating websites and branding for SMEs and startups. I still service some of my older clients today – hosting their websites and maintaining them where required.
NOV 2013 – SEPT 2020
Freelance Event Technician, UK & Europe
After returning from traveling I continued working as an event techinican, this time in a freelance capacity. Mainly as a Sound Engineer, but also on occassion assisting in other departments, such as lighting and video. I was also often deployed as a stage manager.
During this time I got to work on a vast range of events, from small 50 person conferences, to multi-million pound, multi-day seminars and exhibitions.
Events were located all over the UK and Europe, and during this time I built up a large network of event agencies, producers and freelance technicians from all departments – who I am still in touch with today.
Due to the pandemic, this work took a quick downturn, and I needed to concentrate on my web design business, which eventually led me to my current role at This is Fever.
NOV 2012 – NOV 2013
Freelance Event Technician, Australia
I worked & traveled around Australia for a year, working with production companies around the country on live events.
AUG 2009 – NOV 2012
Reece Productions, Production Technician
My first full time role following education was with a local events agency as a junior events technician.
We partnered with lots of larger agencies in our network, where we supplied equipment and event services to a large range of corporate events and exhibitions.
I gained a huge amount of experience from this role, which set me on my career path in the events sector.

More about me…
I write and play music – you can find me on Spotify, iTunes, YouTube, & all digital music stores.
I married in September 2017 and our daughter Florence was born in January 2019. We currently live in Tollesbury with our sausage dog Molly & a couple of guinea pigs.
Sports! Mainly football. I play for Tollesbury every Sunday. I used to run & manage a mens Sunday team once upon a time – organising grown men for football every week is often tougher than work!
I’ve completed 3 tough mudders and will go back for another one soon. I also like to Surf, Windsurf, play squash & am a Brownbelt in Karate (although I’ve not practised for a few years).
Finally…
You’ll find I’m easy to work with, a quick learner – and great with clients.
That’s about it! If there’s anything else you would like to know, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
